Buffalo, NY–Issue Media Group, in partnership with Launch NY, has launched UpstartNY, a digital publication highlighting entrepreneurship in Buffalo and the upstate New York region. Excelsior Growth Fund (EGF), the City of Buffalo, M&T Bank, PathStone, New York State Energy Research and Development Authority (NYSERDA), John R. Oishei Foundation, and Westminster Economic Development Initiative (WEDI) provide support to UpstartNY. The first full issue of UpstartNY was published on May 18 with new issues expected to be published two to three times a month.
UpstartNY is the first online publication in Western New York dedicated to entrepreneurial news and activities in the region. In addition to providing readers with business news, UpstartNY will cover topics ranging from economic development and transportation to health and neighborhoods.
