Malini Krishna is an AVP/Sr. Consultant on Pursuit’s Business Advisory Team. She’s also a social entrepreneur and sits on the FounderPad’s advisory committee, where she mentors women and minority lead technology executive teams.
With over 20 years of experience creating systems and resources to scale businesses, Malini’s achievements include: pioneering new investment-banking products at Bloomberg; spearheading public-private partnerships with the World Bank and International Monetary Fund; creating award-winning partnerships with VisionSpring and the Committee Encouraging Corporate Philanthropy; guest lecturing at Cornell and New York University (NYU); and being featured in media outlets, such as Bloomberg Markets, Forbes, ABC News, and the NYT.
Malini holds a B.A. in political science from Bryn Mawr College and an M.P.A with a focus on international finance and economic development from NYU.
Dave Hanold
Chief Lending Officer
Pursuit Community Finance
Dave Hanold is the Chief Lending Officer at Pursuit Community Finance and serves as the primary officer for all loans, staff training, and lending operations. Prior to his current role, Dave served as a loan officer for Pursuit for more than six years, leading the company’s U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) 7(a) lending activity in New York City.
Before joining the Pursuit team, Dave completed two years of service with Americorps, where he worked on multiple projects to advance education, public safety, and disaster relief initiatives. His second year of service was with Seedco, a national nonprofit that advances economic opportunity for underserved people and communities. There, he partnered with NYC Department of Small Business Services to provide tax preparation assistance to low income families and worked directly with small business owners to secure funding.
Dave holds a BA in International Studies and Environmental Studies from Macalester College in St. Paul, Minnesota.
Angela Pearson

Angela’s professional experience in planning, production and inventory management for wholesale fashion companies brings a unique depth of knowledge to her consulting work. As Vice President of Production and Sourcing at Nine West and VP of demand planning at Caleres, Angela built and trained teams and supervised processes to keep inventory flowing in a timely manner. Her strengths include the ability to listen openly, prioritize tasks and to partner with key constituents. These attributes have led to Angela being asked to serve on multiple occasions as an advisor for colleagues undergoing structural change and dealing with high personnel turn over and moral issues.
Most recently, Angela stretched her skills and ran a Direct Mail Company where in one year time she added 57 new advertisers and managed the selling, ad design and development, as well as the back office functions
She enjoys her relationships built in networking groups such as BNI and being part of the local chambers in an effort to support local businesses.
Angela received a BA of Communication Arts in Advertising, a minor in Speech Communications at Iona College and an MBA in Marketing at Iona College. She currently serves on the Alumni Board at Iona.
