Chris Levy

President & CEO

Chris Levy is the President and CEO of Pursuit, where he leads the company’s strategy, culture, and operations with a clear focus: to create a more inclusive economy by expanding access to capital for small businesses. A forward-thinking and mission-driven leader, Chris works closely with Pursuit’s team, clients, and network of community and financial partners to craft lending and advisory solutions that meet the evolving needs of business owners.

Rich Amsterdam

EVP, Chief Credit Officer

Rich Amsterdam serves as executive vice president and the chief credit officer at Pursuit. Rich is responsible for overseeing all credit functions, which includes overseeing and managing the credit analysis department, the internal lending group and lender service provider team, as well as the portfolio management department. He also provides SBA SOP support for interpretation and eligibility determinations, identifying and crafting creative solutions to potential impediments as well as lending structure and program eligibility support. Additionally, Rich serves on the Senior Staff Loan Committee, the Staff Asset Review Committee, the Funds Management Committee, the BSA Committee, and the IT Change Advisory Board.

Colleen Barth

VP, Relationship Manager - Lender Service Provider

Colleen Barth works closely with financial institutions as a trusted Lender Service Provider (LSP) resource, helping guide lenders through the SBA 7(a) loan process. With a background in commercial credit, Colleen works alongside lender teams to navigate SBA program requirements, evaluate eligibility and loan structure, identify documentation needs, and address potential issues.

Dustin Krause

SVP, SBA 7(a) Group Director

Dustin Krause has been in various retail banking and commercial lending roles over the last 19 years, with the past 12 years at Pursuit. Dustin has experience in SBA 504 lending and SBA 7(a) lending, and currently oversees Pursuit’s Internal Lending Group, which predominately intakes and processes the company’s SBA 7(a) loan opportunities. In addition to his role with Pursuit, Dustin serves as a board member of HATAS, Homeless & Travelers Aid Society. Dustin and his wife have two boys, 6 and 5 years old.

Rob Root

SVP, Regional Manager

Rob Root is Senior Vice President, Regional Manager for Pursuit covering the Metro NY City and Long Island Markets. Rob has been with Pursuit since 2011, and has over 20 years of small business & SBA lending experience.

As Regional Manager, Rob works with a team of commercial loan officers to offer provide responsible lending solutions to help business owners in our community transform and grow. Rob’s team maintains a focus on the SBA 504 loan program, which provides business owners with long-term fixed rate financing options for major fixed assets, including owner occupied real estate and heavy machinery & equipment. The program can assist with acquisition, improvement and debt refinance projects.
