Paisley Demby
Business Strategist
Paisley Demby is a Business Strategist often accused of motivating those in his path. He has over 25 years of business strategy, marketing, finance sales and leadership development experience. He served in the Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Businesses initiative as its first Business Services Director. In 2022 he was cited in Crain’s New York as a Notable Black Leader and a mover and a shaker by NV magazine. He has a citation from New York City’s Mayor Adams for his work in Economic Development. He is the former host of Brooklyn Public Television's business segment called Sector B as well as the MC for the television series Word Greatest Motivators. He is the Co-Founder of both the Queens and New York Startup Business Plan Competitions where he has personally trained over 12,000 entrepreneurs in business planning, marketing, financial forecasting and pitching. In addition to his entrepreneurial pursuits, he has worked for companies such as JPMorgan, Accenture, Westinghouse, IBM and General Motors. Mr. Demby holds an MBA from the Wharton School in Finance and Strategic Management and a BA in Engineering and Economics from Brown University.
